Old Mother

The Old Mother was the eldest of the Tribe of Gum and often predicted the doom of the tribe. She hated fire and when the TARDIS crew were captured in order to provide that element, she set them free from the Cave of Skulls, in order to avoid it. She was later killed by Kal for doing so.
